A Message from the Pastoral Search Committee
March 16, 2008

Three weeks ago, on February 24th, we announced that the pastor that had been selected to come to Bethany Covenant Church for a Sr. Pastor’s candidating weekend had withdrawn his name from consideration, due to family concerns. That was a disappointing day for all of us, and we asked for your prayers as we continued to seek God’s guidance during the search process.

We are excited to report to you that God has answered these prayers. The Pastoral Search Committee and the Leadership Team, are pleased to announce that the family concerns of the selected Pastor have been satisfactorily resolved, and that he will indeed be coming to candidate before us. He and his wife are thankful to God, that through HIM, a clear vision has been given, and that they can now enthusiastically come to Bethany Covenant Church to candidate for the Sr. Pastor’s position.

This will take place the weekend of April 6. Details will be forthcoming.

By the way, it is no longer a secret. His name is Joel Kruggel and his wife’s name is Victoria. They are from Michigan.
