Prayers

Thank you, thank you for committing to pray for us and the work we will be doing as we search for a new senior pastor for Bethany. As a committee, we deeply appreciate the work you will be doing as prayer warriors interceding on behalf of ourselves and the Bethany family. What you are doing in placing us and this process before the throne of God is critical. We covet your prayers daily. We will need them for guidance, for sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and one another, for protection for us, for our families, and for Bethany. We understand that Satan has a stake in thwarting us in the mission we've been given. That is why we are so grateful to you for the help and protection you will provide as you lift us up to God.

Please pray for us in the following areas:

1) For guidance, clarity, and unity as we pull together our church profile. This document will help us clarify what needs Bethany now has, what we are seeking in a new pastor, and will provide information about Bethany's current ministry. --We will be working intensely on this at our meeting tomorrow night at 6:00pm.

2) For protection of ourselves, our families, and the entire Bethany family as we move through the pastoral search process. (Ongoing request)

3) For sensitivity to each other and to the Holy Spirit and for clarity as He guides us.(Ongoing)

4) For God to be preparing the heart of the pastor of God's choosing and the hearts of this pastor's family members to embrace their calling to Bethany. (Ongoing)

5) For God to prepare the people of Bethany to embrace the new pastor and become fully engaged in Bethany's mission to "love God and our neighbors" in tangible ways. (Ongoing)

6) For God to guide Pastor Bob and Judy as they move on from their work here to the next chapter of their lives. (Ongoing)

I will be e-mailing you prayer requests regularly. Some requests will be of an "ongoing" nature, some will be "time sensitive."
