Our Mission Statement
"To be a Christian community To be a Christian community: "Those who believed in Jesus devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer....And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had." -- Acts 2:42, 44. Intentionally devoted and actively committed to a relationship with God and serving His people: "Jesus replied, 'The most important commandment is this: "Hear, O Israel! The Lord your God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.' The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these.'" -- Mark 12:29-31. Joining His redemptive effort to save the world: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." -- John 3:16. "For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins." -- Romans 3:23, 24. "Jesus came and told his disciples, 'I have been given complete authority in Heaven and on Earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' " -- Matthew 28:18-20.
