Sunday Classes for Children
Worship Services: 8:00am and 11:00am
Early Childhood Programs:
Care and instruction is available for children in the Nursery,
Toddler Room, and for preschoolers in Praise and Play. Please
pick up children promptly.
Children’s Worship:
During the worship service, children Age 3 to Grade 4 will be
dismissed before the reading of the scripture and led to the Fellowship
Hall, just downstairs from the sanctuary. There, they will have a
lesson in a more age appropriate version and
hear a children’s sermon. The
children will rejoin their parents again during the hymn following the
sermon.
Sunday School: 9:30am
Early Childhood:
Nursery and Toddler Room: infant to 3 years.
Praise and Play: 3-5 years.
At Bethany, we believe it is never too early to share
the love of Jesus with children. Infants through preschoolers will be
taught in an age appropriate manner using Gospel Light curriculum.
All preschoolers will be studying the same themes
taught at their level. Children will be held
in the Preschool program until they are six years old.
Primary Sunday School: Age 6 to Grade4:
Workshop Rotation allows students to study themes or
Bible stories by attending a series of workshops throughout 4 weeks.
Workshops focus on a different aspect of the story using a different
medium including drama, cooking, games, science, video, art, and music.
Classes will be broken up into four even group sizes:

Age Six & Grade 1,

Grade 2,
-
Grade 3,
-
Grade 4.
Each group will be led by a Shepherd that will lead
them through the rotations, build relationships with their students, and
follow up with visitors.
All students will gather for 10 minutes of opening
exercises in the Sanctuary, followed by 40 minute workshops, and 10 minutes for follow up
questions and prayer.
Upper Elementary/Grades 5 & 6 -- Club 56:
Club 56 meets during Sunday School and
one Friday night a month to GROW into
a disciple of Christ. We learn God's
Word, Have Fun and Build Relationships!
We serve others, in Obedience
to God. Finally we Worship
-- we express our love to God. We know that God is Worthy of Praise,
Thanksgiving, Love and Sacrifice.
